Only one in seven exists for thirty years, and only one in twenty can celebrate the fiftieth anniversary. Constantin Wild GmbH & Co. KG is a family business – and that makes a difference. From 8 – 10 July, the tradition-steeped company celebrates its 175th anniversary – an unforgettable weekend:

The celebrations not only crowned the far-reaching corporate history and family tradition. They also mark several company milestones like the completed renovation of the historic business and family home at Hauptstrasse 103 in Idar-Oberstein, the new corporate identity that sets new standards in the gemstone business, and the publication of the valuable coffee-table book that came out just a few weeks ago.

And: Finally, after more than two years of restrictions because of the pandemic, Constantin Wild could welcome long-time friends, business partners and companions in person again.

The celebrations started on Friday, 8 July. Congratulators from home and abroad met for a casual get-together in Conte’s charming garden and enjoyed the reunion until late at night.

On Saturday, 9 July, Constantin welcomed the guests to the big anniversary celebrations at Weiherschleife – and took them on an incredible journey: together with celebrities like Katerina Perez, Paola de Luca, Caterina Murino, Doris Hangartner and Marcelo Bernardes he guided the invitees back to the future of the Wild family and the world’s most beautiful gemstones. Musically, the Casino-Salon Orchestra and the Simon Höneß band accompanied the time travel with hits from yesterday to today. A historical film in the small cinema and a tour of the mineral grotto rounded off the festive event.

The Farewell Brunch at the host’s garden on Sunday, 10 July from 11:30 a.m. marked the cordial conclusion of the warm-hearted festivities – the finale of an anniversary party that could hardly have been more special.
